Strive, innovate, seek truth, and achieve win-win outcomes.
Tdrill Energy
We have constructed practical models such as constitutive model of typical rock, single-cutter rock breaking force model, geometric kinematics of drill bits, simplified wear model of practical working conditions, calculus model of single-tooth bearing and automatic optimization model of unbalanced force were constructed to guide the research and development of drill bits.
The company strictly adheres to the American Petroleum Institute standard (API 7-1), the ISO 9001 Quality Management System, the ISO 14001 Environmental Management System, the ISO 45001 Occupational Health and Safety Management System, as well as the requirements for SY/T 5217 diamond drill bits and SY/T 5164 tricone drill bits.
In rock mechanics research, the company possesses the capability and methodology to analyze the mechanical properties of rock under both atmospheric pressure and confining pressure, with the ability to interpret logging data. It has established a constitutive model of typical rocks.
In single-cutter research, the company performs tests and analysis on the performance of cutters with different geometries. This research determines the influence of factors such as back rake, diameter, and lithology on cutter load. Based on this, we have established models including a rock-breaking force model and a load-bearing capacity model for single cutters under various working conditions.
For full-size bit simulation drilling, using micro-drilling test benches and full drill bit test benches to simulate bottom hole drilling pressure, bottom hole flow field, and downhole working conditions, drilling simulation, rock-breaking mechanism simulation, and hydraulic parameter simulation are conducted. Practical models such as geometric kinematics of drill bits, simplified wear models for practical working conditions, and automatic optimization models for unbalanced force were developed.
In PDC cutter research, the company maintains long-term cooperation with renowned manufacturers and research institutes, conducting in-depth joint research on material formulation, synthesis processes, and cutter structures, thereby strengthening independent R&D capabilities.
The IDS (Intelligent Design Systems) integrates over 30 proprietary technologies, establishing a parametric, standardized, and automated intelligent design platform. It features intelligent cutter layout and optimization functions, enables automatic profile coupling, and achieves the optimization of face spacing, wear tendency, and imbalance force.
